Hi Andy:

Thanks for taking the time to write! Sadly, I think we will always live in a world where Marketing and Sales people are looking over our shoulders at each other. When one isn't doing their job, it's too convenient to blame the other. But we can dare to dream, right?

Thanks again!

Eric,

I enjoyed your article. There are some great tips here for bridging the divide between sales and marketing. "Can't we all just get along?"

Kind regards,
Andy

Hi Jann:

You're welcome, and thanks for taking the time to comment! I think "murky" is a great word to describe the topic in general--sales and marketing often get into this endless accusational loop of "Your leads are no good!" from Sales people and "You're not following up on them correctly!" from Marketing people. Inevitably, some CEO or VP who has no real visibility into the issue ends up trying to break the tie, and things get ugly.

Thanks again for the comments!
